Would the Duke accusers andhaters be in trouble under Roman law?

For slander there was the death penalty (clubbing to death).

Lets round up the 88 and Nifong, time to pay the piper.
Answer:
Poor neocon, you just can't get your way. Now that the population has the right to bear arms you can no longer have the tyrannical power you so desperately hope for. Pity you.
Why don't we rely on the facts and first hand accounts of the other woman that was actually there.
Don Imus would be first in line
I read they are going to bring charges to the accuser and the D A.

You are angry and hateful, but believe me, if America was under Roman law, there would be trouble for everyone, not just half the people in the Duke LaCrosse case.
She should be sued and/or jailed, along with that shrieking crow Nacny Grace and the rest of the junior Marxist club over at CNN. I am thrilled that they have further discredited themselves.
Roman law? That's a bit harsh.

How about US law? Nifong gets disbarred and the stripper goes to jail.

Did you hear how Nifong is petitioning the ethics board to clear him of all charges? What a bozo!
So we should round up all OJ haters also? What about the LAPD and those who though Michael Jackson was guilty?
