Given the nature of these copy cat mass murder's it would be much better not to release the names or details of the murderers as this only gives them fame in there death.

It would bother me less if they kept the names of the victims silent. As far as the name of the murderer, I believe we need to make them as public as possible just to use it as a deterrent for future lunatics.
